We buy locally whenever possible. We use cfl bulbs throughout the building. We donate money from each oil change to the city of Broomfield to plant trees. We utilize a heat/ac system that is on a programmed timer.
Ways we can help you reduce your carbon footprint and maintain an efficient vehicle:
- Ensure proper tire inflation
- Maintain your vehicle with tune ups (clean air filter, transmission flush, change
cabin & air filters, regular transmission service, fuel system service)
- Routine oil changes every 3,000 miles – your car will run more efficiently & get
better gas mileage (includes belt/hose/fluid check)
- After 30 seconds of idling, you’ve likely wasted more gas than if you turned off the
car & restarted it
- Mainatain your battery – clean off corrosion – we can check to ensure your
battery will continue to hold a charge – automotive batteries tend not to last
longer than 4 to 5 years
- Todays fuel injected cars can be started up and driven immediately – long warmups
are no longer necessary
Did you know that by doubling the life of your vehicle, you cut your carbon footprint in half?
